Sixth Form - Subjects - Critical Thinking

Critical Thinking is offered in Year 12 as an alternative to General Studies. The course is focused on developing a number of skills. These include the ability to: evaluate the credibilty of evidence;construct different types of argument and recognise a range of flaws in arguments. As the course is not knowledge based a vast spectrum of topics/subjects can be explored whilst developing the skills. The course is very useful as a support for all other subjects as the skills taught can be applied in the context of any discipline.
