135th Update … Only 21 Days to Go!

This week we have been working on our new Staff Honours board for staff with over 20 year’s service to MGGS at the time of leaving. We hope to include all such staff who have left  since 2000.  We have been delighted to speak to many of our previous colleagues and very much look forward to welcoming them on 1st July from 2-4pm when the Staff Honours board will be unveiled by Mr Dougherty and Mr Reid as part of their retirement celebration.

“It was good to hear from you.  I hope everything is going well at MGGS.  I still think of you all quite often and see former colleagues from time to time.  I would love to come to the reunion.  It is difficult to believe that Mr Dougherty and Mr Reid have been there so long!!

As mentioned previously, both Mr Reid and Mr Dougherty will be retiring this summer; after a combined total of almost 80 years at MGGS! It is still not too late to be included in  our collation of your memories of them, together with any messages of thanks and well wishes, which will be presented to them on this special day.
