Annie Jr: A Double Dose of Stage Magic @MGGS!

Last night, the curtains soared on the opening night of our much-anticipated production, Annie Jr – a spectacular showcase of our students’ dazzling acting, singing, and dancing skills! The energy was electric, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement. And the magic continues tonight with the second performance!

With a cast and crew of over sixty students did a brilliant job of bringing 1930s New York to life. From the cheeky orphans who have a ‘Hard Knock Life’ at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage to the busy streets of ‘NYC’ where you might find a wannabe ‘Star to be’ or even a stray mutt dreaming of his own ‘Tomorrow with a young girl, then off to the Warbucks mansion with the ever helpful Miss Farrell, Drake and other servants who all say that they ‘…think you’re going to like it’ there – opening night was a magical evening full of great acting, fantastic musical numbers, brilliant choreography and an American president!

We still have one more night to go but I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of staff that have helped along the way, the student led Stage Management Team and the AV Team – we couldn’t have done it without you!  Our thanks also go to the Network Department for capturing the essence of our brilliant school production in pictures.

We can’t wait for everyone to experience another unforgettable evening filled with passion, talent, and pure theatrical brilliance. Enjoy the show!
