Double Donations!

We are thrilled to report that all donations for our WW2 Visitor Centre, which are made via our Fifteen to Finish campaign, will be match funded by the Rochester Bridge Trust! Our relationship with the Rochester Bridge Trust spans 138 years. Following a strong desire to create good secondary education available to girls in Maidstone, the foundation stone for Maidstone Grammar School for Girls was laid on the day that Queen Victoria celebrated her Jubilee, in June 1887.

The funds (£6,500) for the original school came from the Rochester Bridge Trust. We are extremely grateful to the trust for their continued support in helping MGGS to invest in its future and preserve its past. Thank you.
