Former Student Institute of Civil Engineers Quest Scheme Success

We were delighted to learn that since leaving MGGS in the summer Caitlin, a former sixth form student, applied for a scholarship with the Institute of Civil Engineers Quest scheme, this is a very competitive programme. Caitlin has recently been told she was successful and accepted a scholarship with WSP. This means that she has some additional funding for each year of her studies at Southampton University as well as a paid work placement every summer to get that valuable experience. This should guarantee her to be offered a position within their company after completing her degree.

Caitlin’s parents commented, “Last year only 72 students in the whole of the UK were offered a scholarship, so I am sure you can understand how proud we are and believe that this is a huge achievement.”
