Great British Spring Clean…Spring has sprung at MGGS!
Members of the MGGS Gardening Club and Key Stage 3 supported the school this week by taking part in the Great British Spring Clean, an initiative from Keep Britain Tidy to help tidy our natural areas and make our green spaces a more nurtured part of the community.
Students keenly took part in litter picking, removing rubbish which has been blown onto school site, or found by eager squirrels! During an hour-long session, students collected 2 bags full of rubbish which can be safely disposed of, preserving nature and ensuring our school site can be enjoyed by all.
As a reward for all their hard work, students then took part in an Easter Egg hunt in the Woodland Walk to thank them for their generosity to the school.
Thank you to all the gardeners for their continued support.
