Gymnastic Izzie Heads for the Top …

Izzie M in Year 8 at MGGS has recently competed at a South East Regional Competition gaining 4th place in the all around (all 4 apparatus) competition against the top 12-13 year olds in the South East Region, and she earned the Silver medal for her floor exercise across all top level gymnasts in the region age 12-18.  As a result of this performance, she was selected to compete at a national competition for the South East and the team took the Silver medal. 

Izzie also represented her club at the British Team Championships whereby the team came a very respectable 6th within Great Britain. 

A busy few weeks and now the work starts to upgrade skills for the English and British Championships in early 2023.
