Headteacher’s Reflection on Term 1
This has been a busy term with a good start to the academic year. We have been pleased to welcome our new Year 7 and Year 12 students to MGGS. They already feel an integral part of the school. We have had numerous school trips, which has been so pleasing to see. We have been delighted to return to a normal autumn with our open evening and open afternoons. We have welcomed primary school aged students in the day and after school for different transition events.
As always we have concluded the term with House Arts. It was a real pleasure to return to live performances and audiences.
This term, more than any other that I can remember, I have received numerous emails from visitors, members of the public, other parents commenting on how well MGGS students have conducted themselves either as guides on open events or in supporting others in the community. Thank you to each and every student for upholding our motto of ‘non sibi sed omnibus’. What you do is noticed, thank you!
