Maths4Girls

On Tuesday 3 speakers came to talk to our Year 10 students about their careers that involved maths in some shape or form, this was in the hope of promoting the benefits of considering maths as an A level subject. Clare discussed her career in leadership and management and showcased how mathematics helped her become a good problem solver with an analytical mind. Aysha talked about her career in aerospace engineering and her current graduate position with Virgin Atlantic and Feryal introduced the role of an actuary to the students.
The students listened so well, asked thoughtful questions and the speakers were very pleased with the response.

If any parents/carers would like to speak with students about their careers that link to a subject please do get in touch.
