MGGS Gold DofE Award Holders Day at The Palace

On Friday 20th May Mrs Kelly and Mrs Swift were invited by HRH Prince Edward to attend Buckingham Palace as special regional guests and celebrate the success of MGGS students that have gained their Gold DofE Awards. Despite the constant rain this was a wonderful event and an absolute pleasure to celebrate the hard work and effort that students have put in to achieve this high level award.

Congratulations to those former MGGS students that we did manage to see Jayne, Jamie, Imogen & Joshua. Well done!

   

Good Luck to MGGS “DofE’ers”

This weekend we have 53 Year 10 & 11 students taking part in their three day Silver Assessed DofE Expedition in the New Forest.n Wednesday the 1st June we have 12 Year 12’s & 13’s setting off to the Brecon Beacons for five days to complete their DofE Gold Practice Expedition. We wish them lots of luck and hope that the weather is good for them.

Feedback for our Expedition Accredited Provider

We use Adtrex as our accredited provider for DofE. We often receive great feedback from parents/carers, including this email from a parent of a child that attended their Bronze Assessed Award last weekend.
