MGGS Lecture Series Returns with Sam Smith
We are very excited to announce the return of our ‘MGGS Lecture Series’ which aims to offer our students the opportunity to hear from inspirational guest speakers.
Our first speaker this year is Sam Smith who is the first female chief executive of a city stockbroking firm. She is the founder and chief executive of the corporate advisor and brokerage firm FinnCap and a top five broker for the London Stock Exchange. Sam established a female founders forum in March 2017, aiming to enable more female CEOs to scale up using growth capital. She is a former winner of the Women of the Future Award for Business and is a patron for the Modern Muse project, a not-for-profit social enterprise designed to inspire and engage the next generation of female business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Sam will be running a workshop for our A-Level Business and Economics students during the school day on Thursday 2nd February and then will be giving a talk in our main hall from 3:45 pm until 4.30pm which is open to our students from any year group to attend.
