MGGS Music Student spend the day at Canterbury Christ Church University

On Wednesday our GCSE and A Level Music students were invited to Canterbury Christ Church University.  They had a tour of the campus, listened to rehearsals, had a talk on commercial music and production music degree options and then were given the chance to record performances in their state-of-the-art studios. The group performed one piece together and then recorded solo and duet items. The staff at the university were impressed by our student’s abilities and enthusiasm for performance and have invited us to return to record more in the future. They are now mastering the recordings and will be sharing them with us in the near future – needless to say we can’t wait to hear the finished projects!
