We were contacted recently by the Chibozu Community Trust, a registered charity within the UK Charity Commission, appealing for old serviceable science laboratory equipment and books for a community school they support in Zambia.

The school has recently been upgraded to a secondary school which requires them to cover science subjects but unfortunately there were no facilities to carry out experiments.

MGGS Science department were able to donate ten microscopes and a large number of old curriculum books. These items were gratefully received; Mr Choongo said, “Thank you for giving my school community in Zambia the microscopes and number of books. These books will be shared with other schools in the district of Pemba where the school Simooya community school operates”.
