MGGS Summer Works!

This summer our summer works included:

Preliminary works for new building
New windows at the front of C Block which completes our window replacement programme
Geography Corridor and C Block lift lobby have been redecorated
Blind replacements – all old beige ones now replaced with blue ones
Double gates installed at other end of tennis courts
Cabled, installed and configured 84 new IP sounders to replace the bell system and a microphone and call buttons including indoor and outdoor speakers installed for full coverage of the school site
Installed and configured 4 new network switches and replaced one of our data cabinets. Relocated 4 existing switches to other locations
Installed 7 new Promethean Interactive Touchscreens
Lots of redundant equipment sent off for recycling
More CCTV cameras installed!
New PCs setup and installed for the Art Department in B202
321 Chromebooks Delivered – thank you everyone who helped carry them up the stairs! All sorted into form groups ready to distribute and lots of rubbish to dispose of.
