New Building Update – Progress Recap & Latest Developments

Since our last update, which covered the completion of the ground floor structure and the early stages of the first-floor installation, significant progress has been made.

The first-floor floor cassettes are now fully installed, and work has begun on erecting the second-floor walls. Staircase 1 is in place, connecting the ground and first floors.

On the ground floor, fireproof boarding has commenced on the soffits and exposed steelwork. In the Plant Room, concrete plinths have been cast to support upcoming mechanical installations, and stainless steel drainage channels have been installed there and in the PE Store.

Looking ahead, both the Plant Room and PE Store are scheduled for screeding next week, alongside the start of brickwork and the installation of the brick slip carriage system. Fireproof boarding on the first floor will also begin shortly—keeping momentum strong as the build continues to take shape.
