Passing the Torch: Thank You and Welcome to Our House Leaders

This week students have been attending House Assemblies as each House marked the transition of leadership by welcoming their new House Leaders and thanking the outgoing team. The event included reflections, as the outgoing leaders shared some of their key moments from the past year.

We’d like to thank the 2024 House Leaders for their contribution over the year. They played a key role in supporting their Houses through a variety of events, competitions, and day-to-day school activities.

Just a quick note – Danes and Saxons House Leaders aren’t in the photos this time as they were busy with important school commitments. Don’t worry though – we’ll be adding their pictures soon!

Applications for Subject Prefects also closed at the end of school this Wednesday. We look forward to reviewing their applications!

We look forward to seeing how they, together with the Student Reps, take on their roles and continue to build on previous work. With the first House event; Sports Day, coming up it’s a good opportunity for all students to get involved and contribute to their House.

We can’t wait to see what each House gets up to this year. Go team MGGS!
