Reading for Pleasure …

At MGGS our curriculum is underpinned by Mindset, Enrichment, Google and  Advanced Thinking (MEGA).  

Our students continue to take part in “Drop Everything and Read” (DEAR) one day a week during tutor time. Please discuss DEAR with your daughter/son to ensure they have a book to read for pleasure (school textbooks will not be permitted) during this time.

As we approach the Christmas season you may be looking for gift ideas for your daughter/son, please see the attached reading suggestions which have been curated by each of our subject heads. The suggested books on the reading list provide an opportunity for enrichment and extension within the subject areas and also develop a wider understanding of key issues within society such as Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
