So You Want To Dance? Competition Success!

On Sunday 30th June our G-Fix Contemporary and G-Fix Commercial teams headed to Herne Bay to compete in the So You Want to Dance? competition.

Our G-Fix Contemporary team performed ‘Turning Tables’ with elegance and emotion, and placed fourth in a very competitive category! The team also qualified for the Grand Final weekend over the 13th/14th of July with their score!

Jess, Poppy, Maggie, Daisy, Isabel, Charlie and Sophie entered the dance-off challenge, where they were taught a Commercial/ Hip Hop phrase live on the stage by one of the competition judges. Sophie was awarded runner-up in the senior category – well done!

Our G-Fix Commercial team performed ‘DANCE’ with high energy and amazing tricks, placing second in their category! Jess and Ellie also picked up a special judges award for their choreography – a huge well done to them!

Finally, at the awards ceremony, Sophie was given a judges’ award for outstanding dancer and received class at BASE studios.

I would like to thank every dancer who gave up their time to represent MGGS so well – I look forward to the Grand Final!
