Squire Stage Combat Workshop @ MGGS

On Tuesday, 60 pupils from years 7 and 8 participated in a stage combat workshop with Mark Ruddick from Squire Stage Combat.  Mark has an extensive CV, having recently worked on projects for The National Theatre, Marvel Studios and the BBC, and he brought all these experiences to MGGS to share with the students!  

Pupils were taught how to create very realistic fight scenes while keeping themselves and their partners safe.  Theatrical punches were thrown, fake kicks were landed, and everyone left with a smile on their face!  We look forward to welcoming Squire back in the future to expand the combat repertoire!
