The Big London Bake Winners @MGGS

On Monday, 14th April Poppy in Year 7 at MGGS took part in a baking competition called The Big London Bake.  This is a super fun activity where bakers work in pairs in response to a given theme.  Children and parents can bake together or friends can go together too in various locations across the capital. 

On the day Poppy attended, everyone had to make a funfetti candy land themed cake.  Poppy said, “It was very fun and me and my Dad came first out of lots of adults and some children! I was so happy.”  What an excellent achievement for Poppy (and her Dad!)

We are very proud that Poppy has been able to extend her knowledge and passion for food preparation and nutrition beyond the classroom; keep up the good work!
