On Wednesday 11th September our A-level Drama and Theatre pupils launched this year’s studies by taking part in a workshop with published theatre practitioner, Nick O’Brien. Pupils spent three hours being led through the techniques of German theatre writer and creator, Bertolt Brecht. They were challenged to consider how society works, the impact society has on the individual and, when considering the aspects of society they don’t like, posing the question; who is really to blame? Year 13 were inspired to take this forward into their own piece of theatre which they will perform to an invited audience on 5th December.
