Tyson the Trainee Guide Dog Visits MGGS

This week MGGS was honoured to have a visit from trainee guide dog, Tyson and his trainer Mr Manser. Tyson is a cross Golden Labrador/Retriever. Observing Tyson’s behaviour in a wide variety of environments increases his chances of success in the training programme. Throughout Tyson’s visit our students resisted the urge to pet Tyson as he was working, however, we did manage to take this picture with him, Mr Manser and Elizabeth C and Eliza F in Year 10 after the training session.

Mr Manser commented, “It was very kind of MGGS to allow me to visit with Tyson for his bespoke school environment training and the students were very respectful whilst he was ‘at work’.”
