Year 10 Oxford University Trip

This term a group of Year 10 students visited Oxford University, St Hugh’s College to gain an insight into higher education and student life at University.   Students had a guided tour of St Hugh’s college as well as attending an informative session about higher education.  Students had the chance to speak to four current undergraduates who were able to answer questions on all aspects of university life such as the application process for applying to Oxbridge, finance, extracurricular activities, accommodation and the different courses on offer.  It was a wonderful sunny day and after enjoying lunch in the college’s dining hall, students explored Oxford City centre and some of the other historic and prestigious colleges in the area.

We look forward to exploring further opportunities of Higher education with our pupils.
