Year 10 Product Design Communication Skills
Product Designers in Year 10 have been exploring the design communication technique of 2 point perspective this week. Students started with understanding the founding principles of the technique before applying this to increasingly complex tasks.
Starting with a clear horizon and two explicit vanishing points on either side, a range of shapes and ultimately products can be communicated in a detailed 3D format.
Students were stretched and challenged to communicate in 2 point perspective, a modern style house, a task that is normally issued to students in Year 12! Year 10 rose to the challenge admirably and produced some truly outstanding work, as seen here by Freya, Brooke and Erin. Well done Year 10!
