Year 12 Product Design at MGGS

In response to their own experiences in light of the pandemic and the multitude of changes that now constitute our ‘new-normal’, students in year 12 have been given the challenge to design a product that would assist with ‘remote working’. Having investigated the task, carried out a range of target market research, identified a real-life client and generated a design specification, students set about designing a suitable product. Here are some of their designs in various stages of the design process using both freehand sketching and Google SketchUp. Soon students will begin manufacturing and will be able to see their designs come to life!
