Year 7 and 8 Athletics

A very capable and enthusiastic team of athletes made the short walk to Oakwood Park school to compete against 10 other schools on Wednesday 17th May.  Despite a few nerves the girls got off to the perfect start with both our 1500m runners winning the first event.  Success followed success as many athletes gained new personal bests.  The traditional finale of the 4 x 100m relay saw two more victories and ensured that both the year 7 and 8 girls ended the day as overall winners.
