Year 7 Readathon

This term the Year 7s were challenged to Readathon and what amazing results we have had! 

We would like to thank everyone in Year 7 for taking part and showing so much enthusiasm. It’s been very exciting for everyone involved and overall has raised a whopping £2,841 for the Building for Our Future Campaign and for the English Department’s Secret Library.

We would like to congratulate Beau F for raising the most money. Beau will be recognised for this amazing achievement by having her name displayed in the new building.

To show our thanks to the Year 7s for taking part, we arranged for a chocolate hamper draw for everyone who raised over £10.  ?? was the winner of the draw and earnt a hamper full of delicious chocolate goodies.  The main event for the winners is the reward of party food and a film.  The form who managed to raise the most money was 7S.  Well done! We hope that you enjoy watching the film – and the food, of course! 

Again, we thank Year 7 for their exceptional effort and we hope the excitement and enthusiasm around reading continues.
