Year 8  Update – Maidstone Grammar School for Girls

I can’t believe that we have reached summer already Year 8!  Your commitment to your learning and enthusiasm for the MGGS community has really shined through this year and I feel that each and every one of you has truly grown as individuals.  You exhibited great resilience and determination when it came to your exams and our day at Bewl Water was the perfect reward for all your efforts; the sun was shining and it was fantastic to see so many of you smiling and enjoying time with your peers.  This term we have worked with the Red Cross to become confident at dealing with an unconscious person and we also learnt how to respond to somebody who is in cardiac arrest, both of which are potentially life-saving skills.  The Army also ran some fantastic workshops on our school field, which further built upon our focus on teamwork, friendship and community.  It has been a pleasure to work as your Head of Study this year and I wish you all a safe and happy summer.
