You have made a brilliant start to Year 13. We have had a number of challenges to face this term and Mrs Wilkinson and I have been so impressed by your determination and how supportive you have been of each other as well as being both welcoming and helpful to our Year 12 students as they have settled in during the last two terms. I have seen numerous examples of kind acts, which has highlighted what a wonderful cohort you are!
It was a pleasure to deliver the Year 13 A Level Mindset session on Attitude this term and I really hope that you find the activities and ideas I presented useful. It was also wonderful to hand out so many certificates in our Celebration Assembly this term, rewarding the incredible effort that so many of you are channelling into your studies. In addition to this, it has been brilliant to see so many of you enjoying Enrichment sessions and immersing yourself into extra-curricular projects such as EPQs. I am confident that you are going to do well in the following terms and set yourselves up for strong academic results.
inally, the last week of term has been very busy (and fun) with RAG week returning to MGGS in a form that we are more accustomed to and it has been fantastic to see so many of you dressing up, buying tickets for events and contributing to RAG week. Thank you to our Head Students for all their hard work and thank you to all the Student Leaders for all their contributions. We could not do it without you!
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please make time to rest and enjoy the time with family and friends safely.
Ms Zoil, Head of Study Year 13
