Do you want to train to become a qualified teacher at MGGS?

We work with a range of initial teacher training providers at MGGS and are keen to develop these partnerships further. Please click on the links to discover more about School Direct training placements with our training providers.

We offer both salaried and unsalaried School Direct training placements at both primary and secondary level through our Teach in Kent partnership.

We firmly believe that we offer a fantastic opportunity to learn to teach alongside truly inspirational teachers in exciting learning environments offering superb career development and support. Our partnership includes several schools in Medway at both Primary and Secondary level. As part of our training routes, you will train in a main school and then an additional, contrasting placement to give you a rounded programme. We have an online provider, the TES Institute which gives you the valuable flexibility in your training year.

We have a versatile programme of training sessions which are run by experts in the field. Our trainers work with the same students you will be learning to teach and so their advice is highly relevant.
