At Brook Learning Trust we are committed to tackling the teacher recruitment crisis head on and ensuring the BLT SCITT becomes a centre of excellence in which trainees have extensive opportunities to learn, share, transfer and embed excellent practice. The SCITT is a hub for innovation that provides trainees with diverse, exhilarating opportunities designed to realise their full potential and where aspirations and achievement are constantly raised through provision of the highest quality academic guidance.

We offer both salaried and unsalaried School Direct training placements at both primary and secondary level through our Teach in Medway partnership.

We firmly believe that we offer a fantastic opportunity to learn to teach alongside truly inspirational teachers in exciting learning environments offering superb career development and support. Our partnership includes several schools in Medway at both Primary and Secondary level. As part of our training routes, you will train in a main school and then an additional, contrasting placement to give you a rounded programme. We have an online provider, the TES Institute which gives you the valuable flexibility in your training year.

We have a versatile programme of training sessions which are run by experts in the field. Our trainers work with the same students you will be learning to teach and so their advice is highly relevant.
