Recognising the rich and diverse body of students and staff that make our school community

MGGS Diversity Ambassadors Logo

At MGGS we recognise the rich and diverse body of students and staff that make our school community.

The 12 Diversity Ambassadors, who are elected by their peers, representing all year 7-13, help organise various events to encourage healthy discussions and promote inclusion in line with our school motto ‘Non sibi sed omnibus‘.

In the past we have seen a focus on raising awareness about various aspects of diversity:

  • Gender and Gender Identity

  • Race

  • SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disability)

  • Ethnicity

  • Sexual Orientation

  • Age

  • Religious Beliefs

The Student Council, through its students’ representatives, has reflected on the school anti-bullying policy and how we can raise awareness on the various forms of bullying whilst encouraging our school community to be respectful and inclusive.
