GCSE Exam Results 2019

We are very proud of all the achievements of our talented students, especially their outstanding GCSE results. Well Done!

Maidstone Grammar School for Girls has again celebrated a year of excellent GCSE examination results. 56% of all students at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls achieved 5 or more 9-7 ( A*/A) grades, with 37 students achieving 10 or more 9-7 grades. Over 14% of grades on the new specifications were grade 9 (A*) and special mention go to:

Blessing V – 11 grade 9
Angharad G – 10 grade 9, 1 grade 8 and A grade in GCSE Astronomy
Connie L – 10 grade 9 and 1 grade 8
Eleanor R – 10 grade 9 and 1 grade 8
Madeline R – 10 grade 9 and 1 grade 8
Kajal K – 10 grade 9 and 1 grade 7

MGGS twins Eleanor and Madeline R gained an amazing total of 20 grade 9 and 2 grade 8 between them.

MGGS uses Google’s GSuite for Education and is acknowledged by Google UK to be one of the most advanced schools for its integrated use to promote student learning. MGGS has been recognised by the Department for Education for its high standards in Computing and this year’s GCSE results strongly reflect this.

We are extremely pleased to be celebrating the fantastic achievements of our Year 11 students today. Our girls have risen to the increased challenge of the GCSE specifications and have been very successful. We are very proud of all of their individual achievements and look forward to the next stage of their education at MGGS Sixth Form.
