Goodbye Crane, Hello… Building Update

Last week marked a major milestone with the building frame complete and the roof now on. Internal works progressed well, including M&E installations, fireproof boarding, and staircases now providing full vertical access. Externally, roof finishes got underway and ventilation installations continued across key areas.

Check out the pictures of the crane leaving MGGS last Friday!

This week, progress continues across multiple fronts. Cladding is moving forward, with horizontal rails and brick slips now being installed. Mechanical and Electrical services are ongoing on both the Ground and First Floors. Boarding to the ceilings continues on the First Floor, and screed is scheduled to be completed there by the 28th of July.

The main roof is now 80% complete, with all insulation and the capping layer finished. The lower roof is weather-tight, with insulation still to be installed.

We’re excited to see how much more will take shape over the summer and look forward to sharing the latest developments in the News & Blog during the first week of term – stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes progress!
