Celebrating  Exceptional Student Contributors at MGGS with School Colours

School Colours are awarded to recognise the outstanding contributions and achievements of students at MGGS. This award is the highest award that is given by the school and denotes an exceptional event or achievement.

This year has seen some of our most passionate, committed, and creative students step up to enrich school life at MGGS. From leading campaigns to excelling in the arts and supporting behind the scenes, these students have truly gone above and beyond to make a difference in our community.

🤍 Grace A (Romans, Year 12) 

Grace has shown outstanding commitment to school life this year, especially through their contributions to the 15 to Finish campaign. Her dedication and leadership has been inspiring.

🤍 Katie H (Romans, Year 13)

Katie has led with energy and creativity in every dance event – from G-Fix Contemporary to House Arts and national competitions. She’s mentored younger dancers, choreographed award-winning routines, and modelled what it means to lead with passion.

❤️ Lucy H (Britons, Year 13)

From her first performance in Year 7 to her final lead role in ‘Annie’, Lucy has been a constant presence on the MGGS stage. She’s taken part in productions, pantomimes, House Arts, and even helped run drama workshops for younger students.

💛 Eleanor I (Normans, Year 13)

Eleanor has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, supporting concerts with her technical skills, calm leadership, and professional attitude. She’s been a trusted organiser and mentor, especially during high-pressure events.

🩵 Emily S (Danes, Year 11)

Emily has played a key role in events such as House Arts, dance showcases, and assemblies, while also representing MGGS at national dance competitions like The Great Big Dance Off and U.Dance. Her drive and support for the arts have been exceptional.

Freya has shown outstanding commitment to school life this year, especially through their contributions to the 15 to Finish campaign. Her dedication and leadership has been inspiring.
