🏫 Helen Keen Building – From Floors to Finishes, the Momentum Builds!

It’s been another exciting week on site as we continue to see the building taking shape both inside and out!

Vinyl flooring has now been laid throughout the ground floor visitor centre, lobby area, first and second floors, WCs and corridors, bringing a real sense of completion to these spaces. Latex has also been laid on staircase 1, ready for vinyl installation next.

Ceiling grids are now in place in the second floor Music classrooms, with progress continuing steadily across this floor – rooms are really beginning to look finished!

Outside, the canopy structure is complete, flashings are underway, and the canopy roof is due to start later this week. Meanwhile, the pathway along the east elevation has been set out, with below-ground services being routed in preparation for final surfacing.

Across all floors, mechanical, electrical, and decoration works continue to advance –  the finishing touches are well and truly underway!
