Mud, Guts, and Sportsmanship: A Rugby Day to Remember! 🏉

What a muddy, magnificent match last Sunday featuring our own MGGS students, Freya H in Year 10 (playing for Medway RFC) and Lily H in Year 11 (playing for Bull Wells)! 🌧️ The final score was Medway 52, Bulls Wells 0, but the real victory was the incredible spirit of the game!

The pitch was an absolute mud bath, but that didn’t stop the girls from playing their hearts out. In a fantastic display of true sportsmanship, Medway lent players to Bull Wells to ensure the game could continue and everyone got max playing time – Freya even played for Bull Wells in the second half!

Huge well done to Freya, Lily, and all the girls for getting stuck in and playing such an enjoyable game in the true spirit of rugby!
