More Volleyball Success for the U18s!

MGGS travelled to Medway last weekend to compete in the 4th Round of the National Junior Championships. After a shaky start against Hills Road Sixth Form College from Cambridge the team bounced back in the second set but narrowly lost the tie-breaker in the third set. They then took on a very strong Team SideOut from London and despite a great effort with strong performances from the whole team, went down two-nil. Their final game of the day against Team Medway proved decisive though, beating the hosts 2-1 to claim second in the pool and progress up the National Rankings.
