Year 5 Taster Lessons… Further Sessions Released!

Don’t Miss Out!  Last few places remaining for Musical Magic – you’ll need to be quick to book!

Give your daughter the chance to ignite her curiosity with our interactive Taster Sessions. These sessions are a fantastic way for Year 5 students to get a taste of life at MGGS:

• Musical Magic
  Wednesday, 25th February 2026
  4.00pm – 5.00pm
  Students will explore singing, playing instruments and creating and performing their own music.

We are delighted to launch our next three Taster Lessons:

• PE
  Wednesday, 11th March 2026
  4.00 pm – 5.00pm
  This taster lesson in PE will introduce the girls to PE at MGGS through netball.  This session will include the girls developing a number of skills and completing drills, which will help to develop their confidence and performance in a game situation.  They will also have the opportunity to show off what they have learnt through gameplay at the end of the session.

• Mini Website Design
  Wednesday, 18th March 2026
  4.00pm – 5.00pm
  This taster lesson will give girls an introduction to creating multimedia web pages. It is a practical session held in one of our dedicated IT suites where students will learn and use commonly used features of the HTML and CSS languages. 

• History Detectives
  Wednesday, 25th March 2026
  4.00pm – 5.00pm
  The MGGS forensic and archaeology team has discovered an unidentified skeleton. Do you have what it takes to join the team? Can you use the clues to solve the History mystery?
