Fantastic Foodies!

After four intense days, this week has seen all Year 11 Food and Nutrition students partake in a 3 hour practical assessment as part of their NEA work. After initial research into one of the three themes provided by the exam board, students have carried out 3-4 practice dishes to hone their skills ahead of developing a comprehensive dovetailed time plan to prepare and cook three final dishes. Students produced some truly phenomenal dishes, which were the epitome of restaurant quality! 

As the dishes produced are part of a live NEA task we cannot share photos of final dishes yet, but we can show you some ‘in the process’ photos and what the kitchens look like after an NEA lesson!
