ðŸŽYear 7 Ancient Greek Theatre Mask Competition – The Results!
In term 3, Year 7 explored ancient Greek theatre in their Drama lessons. One of the key features of ancient Greek theatre was masks. This year, students were invited to take part in a mask-making competition; they were asked to make a mask that represented a god, goddess or mythological creature of their choice. We had some brilliant entries! The competition was judged by yr 12 A-level Drama and Theatre students. Below are their top three entries:
🥇Jennifer T’s Cerberus (7N). Year 12 were impressed with the creativity and effort – the mask was made from scratch.Â
🥈 Florence G’s Poseidon (7A). The sixth form loved the detail and shimmer.
🥉Leila E’s Dionysus (7N). Year 12 really liked the colour palette and 3D grapes.
Well done and thank you to everyone who took part!
