✨ ONE WEEK TO GO: The Helen Keen Building Becomes MGGS! 🚀

What a milestone week! With only seven days left until MGGS officially takes over the stunning Helen Keen Building on Friday 19th December, the site has transformed from a construction zone into something that now truly looks and feels like a school building.

Groundworks continue to move at pace, with edgings now laid, giving shape to the final outdoor areas. Inside, decorations have progressed through the ground floor corridor, and Stair 2 is now fully complete, bringing a real sense of polish and readiness to the building. Externally, all brickwork has been completed and pointed, and the main ramp installation is finished, ensuring smooth access for all.

But the biggest moment of the week?

🎉 Furniture has arrived across every floor – and it’s already in place!

Classrooms, offices, and specialist spaces have begun filling up, instantly transforming the rooms into vibrant MGGS learning environments.

To finish the picture, internal and external signage has now been installed, proudly marking rooms, routes, and entrances – another huge step towards the building becoming a fully functional part of our school community.

The countdown is officially on… and it’s never felt more real!
