🎨 Tudors on Parade! Talented Year 9 Artists Shine at Maidstone Carnival

On Saturday, 12th July, some of our gifted Year 9 students took part in the Maidstone Carnival.  After a 2-day workshop in June with some visiting artists from Emergency Exit Arts, Evie B, Gaya L and Hamnah F carried the two sculptures along with many other schools in the procession in Maidstone Town Centre.

In addition to these three girls, the sculptures were made by Bea L-T, Evie L, Sara T and Sophia L as a collaborative piece, after being given the theme of ‘Tudors’.  This was under the umbrella-theme of ‘History of Maidstone’.  I think you will agree that the sculptures look amazing and they will be around school so they continue to be appreciated.

Well done to our team of amazing Year 9 artists!
