Good progress continues across all three floors of the Helen Keen Building, with several standout moments to celebrate this week.

Big Highlights:

• 🔬 Science Classrooms are beginning to take shape with fitted furniture now being installed – a huge step towards creating inspiring new learning spaces.
• 🎶 Music Rooms are receiving their acoustic flooring, a specialist feature that will make a real difference for performances and lessons.
• Vinyl flooring is also complete on the First Floor, adding to the sense of spaces being finished.

Other Works Across the Building:

• Mechanical & Electrical: Second fix works are ongoing throughout.
• Ceilings: Grid installations are now complete to Ground Floor and First Floor classrooms.
• Interiors: Decorations and carpentry remain in progress on the First and Second Floors.

Externally:

• Brick slip pointing is progressing well.
• The striking new Helen Keen Building sign has been installed – a proud marker of the project’s identity.
• Scaffolding has been removed from the East and South elevations, revealing the building’s impressive finished façade.
