🏫 The Helen Keen Building: Taking Shape Inside and Out! 💙

Exciting progress continues on our brand-new facility –  ‘The Helen Keen Building’ – and the transformation is nothing short of incredible! With every passing week, this ambitious project is turning from steel and structure into a space that reflects the heart, energy, and vision of MGGS. ✨

Inside the building, things are moving fast. Doors and skirtings are now complete on both the Ground and First Floors, giving the internal spaces real definition. Ceiling boarding is finished, and the grid ceiling installation is now underway, adding the finer details that will shape each classroom and corridor.

Meanwhile, mechanical and electrical services are progressing across all floors, with finishing works already beginning on the Ground Floor. Even more exciting – firestopping has started, and decorations are following close behind, including a beautiful splash of MGGS blue on the woodwork that will give the building a distinctive and familiar identity. 

Externally, the brickwork is rising steadily, and pointing is now underway on the east elevation, bringing warmth and character to the façade. And in another major milestone, we’re getting ready to start striking the scaffolding on the railway side – a sure sign that the building is preparing to step into the spotlight!

Every corner of The Helen Keen Building reflects progress, ambition, and community spirit. We can’t wait to see this space come to life as a dynamic hub for learning, growth, and opportunity – and we’re so proud to be sharing this journey with you.
