Celebrating European Day of Languages at MGGS
On Friday, 26th September, MGGS joined schools across Europe in marking the annual European Day of Languages – a celebration of linguistic and cultural diversity.
The day began in morning registration, where students enjoyed a lively game of “Guess the Language and the Teacher?”. This sparked lots of fun and curiosity as pupils tried to identify voices and languages from our very own staff community.
At lunchtime, the celebrations continued in the canteen, where students had the chance to sample delicious foods from different countries. Meanwhile, A109 became the hub of activity with a range of exciting games and cultural activities, giving everyone a chance to test their knowledge and learn something new.
Thank you to all staff and students who took part in making this day such a success – a wonderful reminder of the importance of languages and cultures in our global community.
