Deer on the doorstep: Why our magical grounds make MGGS the natural choice for Year 7…

There is a certain stillness that settles over our site before the school day begins. While MGGS is usually defined by the energy of our students, earlier this week, the grounds belonged to someone else entirely. A dainty Roe deer (often mistaken for the fawn of a larger species)  was spotted wandering gracefully through our green spaces, seemingly quite at home. We managed to catch some footage – and while the quality might be raw, the moment itself was pure magic.

We have always found that academic excellence isn’t something that can be forced; it flourishes when a student is genuinely happy and inspired by their surroundings. Our sixteen acres of grounds give a rare sense of scale and serenity that is hard to find elsewhere.
