Festive Cheer has officially arrived at MGGS as we get a bit Christ“MGGSy”! 🎄
The trees are here! Our incredible Head Students have been busy bringing the Christmas magic to life, not only preparing for Rag Week but also upholding our tradition: decorating the school Christmas tree in the Main Hall. A huge thank you for their brilliant work in making the school sparkle!
But the festive excitement doesn’t end there. We’re thrilled to share an update on our very own sustainable star: Noelle! Our living potted Christmas tree, lovingly cared for by Miss Winnet and the wonderful Gardening Club, is thriving. Although she may still seem small and not very impressive compared to our Main Hall tree, she is definitely growing! Last year, she stood at 165cm, and this year, we are delighted to report that Noelle has grown to 180cm!
This growing tradition is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and a symbol of our celebrations evolving with us. After the holidays, Noelle will return to her outdoor sanctuary under the care of the Gardening Club, ready to grow even taller for next year. Let’s celebrate a tradition that is truly growing at MGGS!
Word has it amongst the Gardening Club that although the tree is called Noelle, they have a nickname of “Tree’sa”! 🎄✨
