Grammar School Mathematician Of The Year Competition 2023 warmly welcomes back all grammar schools. and are delighted to introduce this year’s 2023 national maths competition.
It is open to all Grammar School students in the UK, this online maths competition follows a previous and very well received 2022 Grammar School online maths event. New submission method on competition days.
Since their last competition in 2022, GSMOTY have successfully used Google forms to send out all their competition day papers. This wonderfully straightforward method of sending out papers has proved to be highly successful in practice, in their very recent UK Independent School Mathematician Of The Year Competition and provides students with a competition score straight after submission. GSMOTY then rank all scores and announces winners on results day.
Competition Details
- Student fee – £25.00
- Competition maths papers are separated into key stages,3,4,& 5. Tasks designed to be both fun and challenging.
- Online multiple-choice papers are completed at home, by the student within a set time frame.
- Direct registration opens 28/06/2023. NOW OPEN!
- Direct registration closing date on 28/10/2023
- Competition day will be set to commence on Saturday 4/11/ 2023 for KS3
- Competition day is set to commence on Saturday11/11/2023 for KS4
- Competition day is set to commence on Saturday18/11/2023 for KS5
- Results Day Friday 30/12/ 2023
- £500.00 prize money for each of the 3 national winners
- Glass engraved national winner trophies Certificates for every student that enters
- Schools are in control of all funds at all times, all student fees are collected via your current cashless school system.
