Houses of Parliament Trip – Diversity Ambassadors

On Tuesday, 14th May 16 students from the Diversity Ambassadors and School Council had the opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament in London and had a glimpse of how democracy takes place!

“Exploring the House of Parliament was like stepping into a living history book. The tour was lovely with so much information and my favourite bit was visiting the Westminster Hall which is the oldest standing room. The workshop at the end was informative and provided a deeper understanding on how laws are made and the roles of parliamentarians. Overall, it was a memorable and educational trip!”  Meghala P – 9C

“I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, I found the tour and workshop highly interesting. Learning about how parliament runs and all of the inside details to it was so enjoyable! Thank you to Mr Belver and Mrs Lawrence for taking me on the trip.”   Katie W – 9C
